Salary Equity Study

Charge
Work directly with the deputy provost for faculty affairs to conduct a salary study in Fall 2024. The study will have two parts: salary equity, which is concerned with identifying inequities with respect to gender and race within departments, as well as detecting salary inversion and compression; and benchmarking, which is concerned with comparing Lehigh salaries to those of our peers. The goal is to have both studies completed by the end of the calendar year so that salary adjustments can be made in coordination with the usual annual raise timing in the spring.
